Subprocessor List

SkaleData engages a small number of trusted third-party service providers (“subprocessors”) to help us deliver and operate the SkaleData platform. This page lists the subprocessors we currently use, the services they provide, and where that processing occurs.

Important context: Customer business data does not flow to these subprocessors

SkaleData operates a Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) architecture. Customer business data — including data processed by Apache Airflow, Airbyte, DataHub, Apache Superset, and other applications deployed via SkaleData — resides within the customer's own cloud environment (such as a Google Cloud Platform project, Amazon Web Services account, or Microsoft Azure subscription). Such data does not flow to any of the subprocessors listed below.

The subprocessors listed on this page process only SkaleData control plane data: account information, organizational metadata, authentication and identity data, operational telemetry, and (when applicable) billing information.

Notification of changes

We update this list whenever we add a new subprocessor, materially change how an existing subprocessor is used, or remove one from service. We notify customers of material additions at least 30 days in advance by email to the primary account contact and by updating this page.
